End Of Life Planning
In May 2025 we held a very informative End of Life Planning event. The event was held at the Old Endowed School in Rodborough and had a great turn out. This was a valuable opportunity to learn about the importance of planning for the future and to engage in meaningful discussions. We all took a lot away from the workshop and foudn it a very helpful session.
The Rodborough WI Egg
Rodborough WI was delighted to create this special 'Suffragegg' for Rodborough Primary School's annual egg hunt! We loved seeing all the families enjoy the hunt and discover our egg among the many others along the trail. It was a wonderful day!
Earth Day in Rodborough
We celebrated Earth Day with Simon Opher MP at the Rodborough WI Under the Sea stall ! It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with our community and raise awareness about ocean conservation. Simon enjoyed exploring the interactive displays and learning about the importance of protecting our marine environment.
The Rodborough WI Christmas Tree
Rodborough WI proudly showcased a Christmas tree at the Christmas Tree Festival held St. Lawrence's Church for Christmas 2024. The tree was a delightful representation of creativity and community spirit. Visitors were enchanted by the array of trees decorated by local groups and businesses, making it a standout highlight of the Good Will Evening.
Water Testing in River Frome
A dedicated group from the Rodborough WI is actively testing the water from the local river to ensure its safety and quality for the community.
Theatre Visit in June
In June, members of the Rodborough Women's Institute enjoyed a wonderful evening at Cirencester’s Barn Theatre, watching Educating Rita. There was so much appreciation for the beautifully staged production of Willy Russell’s classic play. The captivating performance sparked laughter, reflection, and great conversation, making it a memorable theatre visit for all.
